Special situations
| Item | Interval | Owner action |
|---|---|---|
| Wipe up spills | immediately | Wipe up spills promptly using the cleaning materials permitted in the manual. |
| Clean door liners and gaskets | Use a soft cloth or sponge and mild detergent in warm water. Avoid the waxes, strong detergents, bleach and petroleum-based cleaners prohibited for these parts. | |
| Clean condenser area | Vacuum the condenser cover and vents with a brush or crevice attachment. Do not remove the condenser-area cover. | |
| Clean stainless-steel exterior when applicable | Clean stainless-steel exterior surfaces with the soft cloth and mild cleaning solution specified for that finish; dry thoroughly and avoid prohibited abrasive cleaners. | |
| Dry and reuse fresh-air deodorizing filter | Remove the shelf and filter as directed, dry the reusable filter with a hair dryer or sunlight, and reinstall. Wipe off any harmless palm-wood residue. | |
| Clean storage containers, bins and shelves | occasionally | Remove dirty bins and shelves as directed and clean with the permitted soft materials. Remove and reinstall the lid packing; avoid water hotter than the manual’s stated limit. |

They describe patterns across a product family, not any individual machine; your experience may differ. Recall information links directly to official CPSC notices.
